Our Founder and Co-Owner is good ol' Tommy Thompson.

Tom has 35 years of experience in the heating and air conditioning business.  He started Thompson Heating and Air Conditioning Co. in 1980.  His wife, daughters, mother and sister have all at some time worked in some aspect of the company.

Tom has numerous certifications in the air conditioning and heating industry.  During his tour in the Navy he attended "A" (machinist mate) and "C" (air conditioning and refrigeration) schools, where he was awarded "Honorman" status.  Upon receiving an honorable discharge from the U.S. Navy, Tom  earned a degree in business and subsequently went into business for himself.  In High School, Tom excelled at metal shop and received the Industrial Arts Award upon graduation.

In the early 80's Tom was offered and accepted a position with a local defense contractor for field service in Europe.  Tom took his family to England and Belgium for 3 years and had a great time working for this defense contractor and enjoying the "European Experience".

Tom has always tried to achieve the highest workmanship standards and continues to do so in his business.

Tom is married and has two lovely daughters, Cyndee and Jennie, and also two grandchildren; Kyla and Kadyn.  In his spare time he enjoys off-roading.

Right after his daughter Jennie and Justin; Tom's son-in-law, returned from duty at a N.A.T.O. Base with the U.S. Army in Portugal, Justin started working for Tom, and a short time later, Tom offered him the position as a co-owner.

Justin Bush is our other Co-Owner, and is also our Lead Installer and Service Tech.  He has gained 3  years of experience in working with this company.  His training consists of  completing a Mechanical and Refrigeration Cycle ROP course at Palomar College and continuous year round training classes provided by Trane.  Justin has earned his EPA Certification, and is  N.A.T.E. (North American Technician Excellence Inc.) Certified.   For his first 2 years in the industry, he worked side-by-side with Tom Thompson and his 25 years of experience.

Justin was born and raised in Escondido Ca.   After High School he joined the U.S. Army and was trained in the field of Microwave Radio  repair, and High Frequency Radio repair.  During this time he and Jennie Thompson were married.  They have been married for 6+ years now.  In his last 3 years of service, he was selected to serve at a N.A.T.O. Base in Portugal.  His assignment consisted of being the Lead Technician for 20 high frequency radios.  During their first year in Portugal, their son Kadyn, now 5, was born.  He was 2 1/2 years old by the time they returned to the States.  Upon coming home is when he began working with Tom at Thompson Heating & Air Conditioning.  In his spare time, Justin enjoys surfing, and riding Quads in the desert, and playing with his son.

Our other Install Tech is Garett  Baird.  He has been with the Company for six months.  While gaining his six months experience with THACC he has earned an HVAC Electrical Certificate.   Garett was raised in San Diego.  He is married and has 2 children; Andrew who is 7, and Hannah who is 4.   In his spare time he enjoys fishing.

Jennie Bush is Tom's younger daughter and also Justin's wife. Jennie began working as a part-time bookkeeper for THACC in 2002 while working for another company.  In April of 2005 she began full-time employment with THACC.   She is the Office Manager, responsible for scheduling, bookkeeping, human resources and other miscellaneous administrative duties.  She also acts as the Company's Receptionist.

As mentioned in Justin's profile, during his deployment to Portugal she gave birth to their son, Kadyn, who is now 5 years old.   While in Portugal they also bought a beautiful boxer puppy by the name of Roxy.  She is now 4 years old and like a second child to them.  Other pets they have include Spaz, a ferret (7 years), 2 geckos (3 years) and a Bearded Dragon named Bob (2 years).  Jennie enjoys the outdoors whether it is camping, vacationing or just hanging out in the back yard.  She also likes to have company and entertain, but most of all, she just likes to hang out with her boys.

Our Trane Comfort Consultant is Cyndee Rose.  Cyndee is Tom's eldest daughter.  She has worked for Thompson Heating & Air Conditioning for a combined total of 4 years.  Her responsibilities consist of Sales, Estimating and Marketing.  Her training includes Trane Comfort Consultant training, Distribution training, and factory training with other manufacturers.  She holds various certificates in HVAC, including Hydronic systemsIn total, Cyndee has 11 years experience in the HVAC field.

Cyndee has 5 years of Military experience, during which she served in the U. S. Coast Guard.  Her M.O.S./Rate was "Machinery Technician."  Her hobbies include such things as Martial Arts, puzzles and watching football.  She especially enjoys reading.

As well as giving the best possible service to our customers, we believe in giving back to the community.  One way of doing this is by sponsoring local youth sports.  In 2006 we were proud to be the sponsors of the T-Ball team that Justin and Jennie's son was on.  The T-Ball team, the Athletics, was part of the San Marcos Youth Baseball league.
